Rogers named Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employer
We’re honoured to be ranked one of Canada’s Top Small & Medium Employers, among other distinguished Canadian companies. Our reputation as a great company to work for stems from our biggest asset (our people) and dedication to a healthy workplace that’s challenging, rewarding and balanced.
Some things we’re known for (and proud of): our Dog Policy, the Rogers Dream Program, our emphasis on continued education, even our popcorn and slushy sessions every Friday! Outside of the company we’re passionately involved in the community through various volunteer endeavours from Hull Calgary to Run for L’Arche, as well as many individual volunteer commitments our employees participate in.
Employers are evaluated by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers using the same eight criteria as our national competition: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement. To determine eligibility, the Top 100 editors adopted the SME definition used by Statistics Canada, limiting the competition to private-sector commercial organizations with under 500 employees.
