Snowman 1K Fun Run
The Snowman 1K Fun Run is always a huge success and each year our L’Arche Lethbridge community joins us for this popular event. Try our new course at Fort Calgary this year. Everyone is welcome!!
Forge family bonds and meet L’Arche community members on the exciting interactive obstacle course. Celebrate the finish of this memorable Snowman 1K Fun Run race day with a free hot chocolate!
Why? Your support makes a difference by helping L’Arche Calgary create a true community for people with developmental disabilities.
Where is the Fun Run happening? 1k Fun Run is going to be at Fort Calgary, at the Original Fort Site, on the north side of the parking lot.
Each Registered Runner Will Receive
- Snowman t-shirt
- Snowman Race Kit Bag
- Finishing medal
- “I finished the obstacle course” Snowman Award
Are there re-runs? Everyone is welcome to go back to any obstacle station as many times as they would like.
What to wear
- You will be running, and you will be throwing objects.
- We highly recommend to dress in layers, wear warm boots, and bring scarves and mittens.
Things to bring
- Change of clothes & shoes,
- Reusable water bottle
- Parking fees. (Charge for parking at Fort Calgary is a flat rate of $6).
