“Shostak Employee Quote to Win” (the “Contest”)
CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS (the “Rules”)
No purchase from Rogers Insurance is necessary to win. Individuals must meet the requirements specified in the “Eligibility” section and comply with the contest rules in order to be eligible to win.
CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest is being held by Rogers Insurance (the “Contest Sponsor”) and begins 12:01AM EST on September 26, 2022 and will end at December 31, 2023 at 11:59PM MST (the “Contest Period”), after which time the Contest will be closed and no further entries will be accepted.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the Contest, an individual must be:
- the age of majority in Alberta or older at the time of entry.
- a permanent resident of Alberta, and
- An employee with Shostak Auto Group in Alberta
- Requesting a quote for a home insurance and/ or automobile insurance policy (excluding any commercial or business insurance) from a Rogers Insurance broker
Contest Sponsor, their respective parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies, and the household members of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Contest (the above requirements collectively constitute all “Eligible Persons”).
HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE REQUIRED. To enter without purchase or obligation, an individual must request a quote upon a home insurance and/ or automobile insurance policy that qualifies under the Personal Lines Group Home and Auto Insurance Program for the Shostak Auto Group from a Rogers Insurance broker between September 26, 2022 to December 31, 2023. The individual must provide the individual’s last name, first name (excluding any nickname), age, full address with postal code, telephone number with area code, email address (if applicable), and received an home and/ or auto insurance quote during the Contest Period. during the contest . Upon receipt of this information by the Contest Sponsor, the individual will automatically be entered through one (1) entry. One entry per person for a home insurance and/ or automobile insurance quote received through Rogers Insurance by an individual during the Contest Period, the individual automatically receives one (1) entry form.
There is a limit of one (1) entry per person. The odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries received. Offers may change without notice.
PRIZE
There will be one (1) $500 electronic gift card (the “Prize”). One (1) Prize will be awarded to an Eligible Person who is a resident in Alberta, a current employee of Shostak Automotive Group and an individual must request a quote upon a home insurance and/ or automobile insurance policy from a Rogers Insurance broker. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable, has no cash surrender value and must be accepted by the Winner as awarded. The Contest Sponsor does not make any express or implied warranty about the Prize, and, as such, is not responsible for any dissatisfaction with the Prize or for any taxes, landing and departure fees, and other charges and surcharges that may be applicable. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the specified Prize is unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Contest Sponsor’s control. Arrangements will be made by the Contest Sponsor to deliver the Prize to the Winner. The Winner must meet all other eligibility criteria as well as any applicable company policies of the Contest Sponsor.
SELECTION
There will be a random draw for the Prize at Rogers Insurance in Calgary, Alberta, on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 12:00 PM MST. One (1) entry from an Eligible Person who is a resident in Alberta and current employee of Shostak Automotive Group and obtained a quote from Rogers Insurance between September 26, 2022 to December 31, 2023 and will be manually selected at random among all entries received during the Contest Period, in order to award the Prize described. All entries received meeting the eligibility criteria herein will be part of the same draw and will be treated equally for the purposes of selecting an entrant (the “Selected Entrant”).
The Selected Entrant will be notified by telephone shortly after the draw and instructed how to claim his/her prize. In the event the Selected Entrant cannot be located or does not respond within fourteen (14) days of prize notification, the entrant will be disqualified, and another entrant will be chosen.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this Contest should an event beyond its reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest, or for any other reason whatsoever. The Contest Sponsor and its affiliates may, at their sole discretion and without liability, rescind or amend this Contest at any time.
Any person entering this Contest or trying to do so by any means which would be unfair to the other entrants, contrary to the Rules or illegal, including computer hacking, amongst others, will be automatically disqualified and may be subject to prosecution, as the case may be. Decisions by the Contest Sponsor in regard to this paragraph are final and binding.
In order to be confirmed a winner and receive a prize, the selected entrant will be required to sign the Contest Sponsor’s form of Declaration of Compliance and Release which confirms compliance with these official Contest Rules and releases the Contest Sponsor from all liability with respect to the entrant’s participation in this Contest and the awarding and use of the Prize.
By entering this Contest, each Selected Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Contest Sponsor: (i) shall have no liability of any kind whatsoever with respect to this Contest and/or the awarding or use of the prize, (ii) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning the prize, (iii) disclaim any implied warranty, and (iv) are not liable for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from the entrant’s acceptance or use of the prize or otherwise from such entrant’s participation in this Contest, and (v) are not liable for any claim arising from a the Selected Entrant’s use of or dissatisfaction with a prize.
By entering this Contest, the Selected Entrant authorizes the Contest Sponsor to use as required, his/her name, photograph, picture, place of residence, voice and (or) statement in connection with the Prize, for advertising purposes, without remuneration or compensation of any kind.
The Contest Sponsor is not liable for faulty technology that makes it difficult or renders any person(s) unable to enter or win the Contest. By entering this Contest, you acknowledge having read these Rules and agree to abide by them.
