Acera Insurance Run for L’Arche Raises Over $80,000 for L’Arche Calgary
We are excited to share that our 13th annual Acera Insurance Run for L’Arche has raised over $80,000 for L’Arche Calgary.
The in-person event on Saturday, April 1 welcomed over 450 participants, volunteers and supporters to Confluence Plaza on St. Patrick’s Island in Calgary.
The event also encouraged virtual participation between April 1 – 9, and let participants take part from all over Canada, including our Acera Insurance team in Fort McMurray.
Since 2011, Acera Insurance (formerly Rogers Insurance) has proudly worked with L’Arche Calgary to organize and host this event.
Our 2023 event brings our total raised to over $735,000 since the event’s inception.
These important funds will support L’Arche Calgary’s five homes, the Supported Independent Living Program (SILP) and Tamarack Day Program – fostering a community of belonging, togetherness, diversity and humanity for adults with intellectual disabilities.
