At Rogers Insurance, dreams really do come true
The program has been called life-changing and extraordinary; it has been featured on Global News, as well as the Calgary Herald. But its roots go back to 2008, when Lee Rogers (President, Rogers Insurance Ltd.) & Bruce Rabik (COO, Rogers Insurance Ltd.) decided it was time to make incredible things happen for Rogers Insurance employees. They recognized that each person had their own dreams, but not necessarily the means to make those dreams come true. They felt it was a great way for employees to balance their personal and work lives. And so whether big or small, the “Rogers Dreams Come True” program came to fruition and would undoubtedly help Rogers Insurance employees realize their very own dreams.
In its initial year, the program began with two dreams and $100 deposited to each employees dream account. From there it has evolved into the program it is today: four dreams (two random draws and two dreams voted on anonymously), $100 deposited to each employees dream account and one random draw for $1000 into one employee’s dream account each year.
Dreams range from world-wide vacations, to covering large medical expenses; reuniting loved ones to shopping sprees. Since 2008, Rogers Insurance has disbursed upwards of $150k to support employees as they realize their dreams; anything from taking trips around the world to easing the financial burden of tough times (which is why the program continued even throughout the recession).Over the next few months we’ll feature our dream winners right here on our blog, so stay tuned to learn more about how Rogers Insurance helps make dreams come true!
